Are there any references to a Patrick Reynolds from Massachusetts, or the New England are who may have died during the South Dakota gold rush (about 1879)? According to family stories he went west from Massachusetts in search of a fortune and his family never knew any more. There is a guess of a death date of 1879, but not anything definitive. He left 5 children and a wife named Margaret. I would appreciate any information. Thankyou. If there is a better way to get any information would someone please direct me.
