Eva Burston or Burstein of Deadwood SD

The historical newspaper records, unfortunately, were destoyed by fire after 1894.

The only reference to a Burston, Burstin or Burstein in Deadwood or the surrounding area is this reference.

Burstein, wife & partner go to Big Horns
Burstein,
Jul 21 1877

and for cemetery records at Mt. Moriah

Burstin, Bertha, d. 1/19/1916, age: 36y, bur. Sec 4, Lot 85 *

Eva Burston or Burstein of Deadwood SD

Looking for any information or references concerning Eva Burston or Burstein, or Burstin or perhaps Berckstein in the 1890's or perhaps early 1900's in Deadwood SD.

She is recorded as being from Deadwood SD when she married Englishman Frederick (Fred) Rogerson.  Unclear if they married in Deadwood, or perhaps in Omaha, Nebraska.  Fred certainly lived in Omaha in late 1906 and was in England up until at least the first quarter of 1893 when his daughter by his first wife (Edith) died.  Fred possibly went to Canada in the 1890's.  Ended up in Omaha Nebraska in 1906 (or before), and somewhere along the way he met Eva Burston/Burstein who came from Deadwood.

No idea if Eva was born in Deadwood, or perhaps just lived there.  Some say she is of German origin.

Web link tells a bit more of the story :

Fred Rogerson is the younger brother of my wife's great grandfather, hence I have been looking into this story.

Direct contact to my e-Mail address gxmartinbaker@hotmail.com is probably the best way of getting any information to me.
